Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. coconut
1 carton Cool Whip
Preparation

Bake cake as directed in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Cool about 15 minutes.
Punch holes in cake.
Combine milk, sugar and half of the coconut in saucepan.
Let come to boil and simmer 1 minute. Spoon over warm cake. Cool completely.
Add rest of coconut to Cool Whip.
Spread over cake.
Keep refrigerated.
