Sweet And Sour Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 pkg. French-cut beans, thawed
    1 pkg. green peas, thawed
    1 can Shoe Peg corn, drained
    1 1/2 c. celery, sliced
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 red pepper, chopped or 1 jar pimento
    5 or 6 green onions, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients sugar, water, oil and vinegar. Bring to a rapid boil.
    Cool and pour over the vegetables that have been combined.
    Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
