Soda Cracker Chocolate Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients

35 to 40 soda crackers
1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Preparation

Line a 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan with foil.
Grease.
Place crackers on foil.
Melt butter; add brown sugar.
Boil for 3 minutes.
Pour over crackers and spread.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Turn off oven.
Sprinkle nuts and chips over crackers.
Return to oven until chocolate is melted (3 to 5 minutes).
Remove using buttered spatula; press nuts into chocolate.
Cut in 1-inch squares while warm.
Cool.
Remove from foil.
