Garlic Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. hamburger dill slices
    5 lb. sugar
    1 (2 oz.) bottle Tabasco sauce
    1/2 bottle (small) minced garlic
Preparation
    Drain pickles overnight.
    Turn jar upside-down in colander in sink.
    Next day, in a large bowl, mix sugar, Tabasco and garlic until pink.
    Layer ingredients back in jar, starting with sugar. All will go in jars with a little packing.
    Screw lid on jar and let sit for 5 days, turning jar over each day.
    After 5 days, pack pickles in sterilized pint jars, covering with syrup and sealing with sterilized lids and screw tops.
    No hot water bath needed.
