Fig Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    2 large eggs
    1 1/2 c. fig preserves
    1/4 c. orange juice
    1/2 tsp. orange rind, grated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 c. salt
    1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Beat the first 3 ingredients with an electric mixer for 1 minute.
    Add orange juice, grated rind and vanilla.
    Beat for one more minute.
    Blend by hand the sifted flour, soda and salt into first mixture.
    Add nuts and fold batter until well blended.
    Bake in greased and floured 8 cup Bundt pan Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes
