Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced peaches
    1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 stick butter or margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix sliced peaches and 1/2 cup sugar together; set aside. Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Put 2/3 stick butter or margarine in a 1 1/2-quart casserole and place in oven to melt.
    Mix 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, flour, salt and milk together.
    Pour batter over melted butter; don't stir.
    Place peaches over batter; don't stir and bake for 1 hour.
