Potato Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. instant mashed potato flakes
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat
    oven
    to
    350\u00b0.
    Makes 36 cookies.
    In a large mixing bowl
    combine
    butter,
    brown sugar, eggs and vanilla; blend at low speed.\tAdd flour, baking powder and salt;
    blend well.
    By hand,
    stir
    in
    potato
    flakes
    and nuts.\tDrop by teaspoonfuls onto
    ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10
    to
    12 minutes
    or until lightly browned.\tCool on cookie sheets for 1 minute then remove.
