Ricotta Pie(Torta Di Ricotta) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 to 2 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation

Sift together into a bowl the flour and salt.
Cut shortening in with pastry blender, until pieces are size of small peas. Sprinkle egg yolks and cold water gradually over mixture, 1 teaspoon at a time.
Mix lightly with fork after each addition. Add only enough water to hold dough together.
Mix until egg is thoroughly combined and completely blended.
