Ham, Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (15 oz. each) cans red beans, rinsed and drained
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can spicy stewed tomatoes
    2 c. cubed fully cooked ham
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 dashes hot pepper sauce
    hot, cooked rice
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients, except rice. Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
    Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Serve over rice.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
