Levi'S Bird - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole chicken
    3 c. water
    1 small can mushrooms
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Put
    chicken
    in
    12-inch
    Dutch oven.\tPour water over chicken.
    Pour
    mushrooms, onion soup mix, margarine, salt and pepper over
    chicken.
    Bake with 6 coals on top and 5 coals on the bottom
    for
    3
    hours.
    Replenish\tcoals
    1/2 way through cooking process or as needed to maintain even temperature
