Minnesota Cucumbers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 c. sliced cucumbers, unpeeled
1 c. thinly sliced or chopped green peppers
1 c. thinly sliced onions
1 Tbsp. celery seed
2 Tbsp. salt to taste
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
Preparation

Combine vegetables; stir sugar to dissolve in vinegar.
Pour vinegar mixture over vegetables.
Cover and store in refrigerator. (If doubling the amount of the recipe, reduce the amount of celery seed.)
It is ready to eat after being in the refrigerator overnight.
It keeps about 2 weeks.
