Mom Ever'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. butter or Crisco
    1/2 c. cocoa, dissolved in 1/4 c. hot water
    1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat together sugar, eggs and butter.
    Add cocoa mixture, buttermilk, soda, vanilla, flour and salt.
    Spread in two round cake pans lined and floured.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0. Frost with Waldorf Frosting.
