Three Cheese Chicken Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. lasagna noodles
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
    1 1/2 c. American cheese, shredded
    4 oz. sliced mushrooms, drained
    2 c. cooked chicken or turkey, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped pimento
    1/3 c. skim milk
    1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
    1 1/2 c. cream-style cottage cheese
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions; drain well.
    Cook onion and green peppers in butter until tender.
    Stir in cream of chicken soup, mushrooms, pimento, skim milk and basil. Lay half the noodles in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Top with half the soup mixture, cottage cheese, chicken, American cheese and Parmesan cheese.
    Repeat the layers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Top with remaining American cheese and Parmesan cheese; bake another 2 minutes, or until cheeses are melted.
    Makes 10 servings.
