Walnut Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. spice cake mix
1 tsp. soda
1 can applesauce
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Preparation

Add soda to cake mix.
Substitute applesauce for liquid using 1/4 cup more applesauce than the liquid called for on package. Mix cake as package directs, adding the extra 1/4 cup applesauce to first mixing.
Stir in chopped nuts.
Bake as directed on package.
