Christmas Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 c. quick-cooking oats
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. finely chopped dates
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped candied cherries
    candied cherry halves
Preparation
    Cream margarine, sugar and eggs in large bowl until fluffy. Stir in sour cream.
    Add next 5 sifted dry ingredients; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients except cherry halves.
    Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Top each cookie with cherry half.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Yield:
    5 dozen.
