Mike'S Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. Karo (white)
1/4 c. water
3/4 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
5 medium sweet potatoes
Preparation

Parboil potatoes which have been peeled and cut in 1/2-inch strips the length of potato or 1/2-inch rounds.
Drain and set aside (don't overcook).
Combine sugar, Karo and water.
Bring to light boil.
Add butter and potatoes.
Cook on simmer until done. Be sure you don't overcook.
