Navy Bean Soup As You Like It(Serves 6 To 8) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

16 oz. navy beans, cleaned as needed and soaked overnight
1/4 lb. your favorite sausage (harmless or hot), diced
1 1/2 c. potatoes, diced
2 medium sized onions, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
1 Tbsp. olive oil
2 Tbsp. your favorite spice (Cavender's all-purpose Greek is a good one)
Preparation

Put olive oil in soup pot and simmer sausage for 30 minutes. Drain soaking water from beans and add beans to sausage along with 3 quarts of water.
Add other ingredients, except seasoning. Simmer, simmer, simmer; stir occasionally.
Add water, if necessary.
Add spices 30 minutes before serving.
