Best-Ever Meat Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground lean beef
1/3 c. uncooked rolled oats
1/4 c. minced onion
1 c. drained canned tomatoes
1/2 c. instant nonfat dry milk
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 bacon slices, cut in half
Preparation

Mix all ingredients thoroughly, except bacon slices.
When well blended, turn into a greased, shallow baking pan.
With your hands wet, shape mixture into a rounded loaf.
Arrange 4 pieces of bacon on top of loaf.
Bake on the center rack of the oven at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour, or until brown.
We like to coat the top of the loaf with catsup 15 minutes before cooking is done.
Serves 4.
