Holiday Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1- 10 oz. Jar Maraschino Cherries
2 -8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (softened)
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp almond extract (I use 1 tsp.)
2- 8 oz. pkg. crescent rolls

Preparation

Drain cherries:
discard juice or save for another use. Reserve 10 cherries for garnish.
Chop remaining cherries. Combine cherries, cream cheese, almonds, sugar and almond extract.
