Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. potatoes, peeled and cubed
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. milk
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 lb. sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
    3 sliced green onions
Preparation
    Put potatoes in a pot; cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and let simmer until tender.
    Drain and place in a mixing bowl.
    Add sour cream, milk, butter, salt and pepper. Beat until light and fluffy.
    Blend in 2 cups cheese, bacon and onions.
    Put potatoes in a greased baking dish; top with remaining cheese.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until cheese is melted and potatoes are heated through.
