Holiday Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. candied cherries (halves)
1 1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
1 lb. butter
2 c. plain flour
5 eggs
4 c. pecans, chopped
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. black walnut extract
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
Add extract and beat well.
Put fruit and nuts in large bowls.
Pour batter in and mix well.
Pour into 2 large greased and floured loaf pans.
Bake at 250\u00b0 to 275\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours or until tested done.
