Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
3 1/2 c. flour (use 1 c. to coat fruit and nuts)
1/2 lb. chopped dates
1 (8 to 10 oz.) pkg. candy orange slices
8 oz. coconut
2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. fresh squeezed orange juice
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.
Add eggs and cream.
Put soda into buttermilk and add alternately with flour.
Fold in fruits and nuts.
Grease and flour an angel food cake pan and fill with batter.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Let cool slightly and remove from pan.
