Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 c. unseasoned mashed potatoes
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 1/2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Beat eggs; add sugar gradually.
    Beat again.
    Add butter, potatoes and milk.
    Sift together dry ingredients; add to egg mixture.
    Divide in half.
    Chill 2 hours.
    Take out 1/2 at a time. Roll on floured board, 1/2-inch thick; cut with doughnut cutter. Fry in oil until golden on both sides.
    Dry on paper towels. While warm, sprinkle with confectioners sugar and cinnamon.
