Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 1/4 c. frozen coconut or 1 can coconut
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Pour milk over coconut and set aside while creaming margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat.
    Then add the milk, coconut and flavoring.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until golden brown and firm.
    (I double this recipe and make 3 pies in shallow pans.)
    This makes 1 deep pie.
