Toll House Marble Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
6 Tbsp. white sugar
6 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. water
1 egg
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
1 c. chocolate chips

Preparation

Blend margarine with white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and water. Beat in egg. Add flour, baking soda, salt and nuts. Spread in 13 x 9 x 2 pan; sprinkle with chocolate chips. Place in 375\u00b0 oven for 1 minute.
Remove and run knife through, to marbleize. Return to oven and bake 12 to 14 minutes.
