Enchilada Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion
    1 garlic clove
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can ripe black olives, chopped
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    6 tortillas, buttered
    shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/8 c. water
Preparation
    Saute ground beef, onion and garlic in butter.
    Add seasonings, olives and tomato sauce.
    In a round 2-quart casserole, alternate layers of buttered tortillas, meat sauce and cheese, ending with tortillas and cheese.
    Pour water down side of casserole dish, cover and bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cut into wedges.
    Serves 8.
