London Broil - cooking recipe

1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 medium onions, thinly sliced
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. salad oil
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 lb. high-quality flank steak, scored*
Preparation

Melt butter in skillet.
Add onions and 1/4 teaspoon salt; cook and stir until onions are tender.
Keep warm over low heat.
