Sausage Boats - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large zucchini squash
    1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1/4 c. tomato sauce
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook whole, unpeeled zucchini in boiling water for 10 minutes or until tender.
    Cut in half lengthwise; drain.
    Scoop out centers, leaving 1/4-inch thick walls.
    Chop centers.
    Brown sausage and onion.
    Pour off fat.
    Stir in chopped zucchini, bread crumbs, catsup, egg, salt and thyme.
    Place zucchini shells in large, shallow baking dish and fill with sausage mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
