Puu Puu Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small green cabbage
    1 medium onion
    2 to 3 strips bacon
    bacon drippings
    1/3 c. red wine vinegar
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Fry bacon in medium fryer until crisp.
    Remove most of drippings, leaving enough to coat pan.
    Drain bacon.
    Chop cabbage and onion and place in pan with drippings.
    Cover and cook over medium heat until tender.
    Crumble bacon and sprinkle over vegetables.
    Mix vinegar and bacon drippings and pour over vegetables.
    Heat thoroughly and serve.
