Tea Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or oleo
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. sifted flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar and buttermilk in a large bowl.
    Mix well.
    Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda.
    Stir only until flour is well moistened.
    Stir in raisins.
    Fill paper baking cups 2/3 full.
    Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    Makes 18 biscuits.
