English Walnut Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. white sugar
    1 pt. light corn syrup
    1/2 lb. butter or oleo
    1 large and 1 small can Carnation milk
    1 lb. English walnut meats, chopped
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in a large kettle, except the walnut meats.
    Cook until soft candy, stirring quite frequently.
    Beat until creamy, then add walnuts.
    Pour into a buttered pan.
    Cool; cut into squares.
    Yum!
