Double Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 c. buttermilk
    5 Tbsp. cocoa
Preparation
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
    Cream sugar and butter and then beat in egg yolks, one at a time.
    In a small bowl, beat egg whites until stiff; set aside.
    Sift flour, cocoa and baking powder together.
    Add alternately with buttermilk in the first mixture. Fold in egg whites.
    Pour into 5 greased and floured 8 or 9-inch pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until done.
    Cool.
    Frost with Chocolate Icing.
