Potatoes Au Gratin(Serves 4 To 5 People) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium potatoes
2 c. shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1/3 c. scallions
1 tsp. salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Boil and cut up potatoes in julienne pieces.
In a saucepan, over low heat, combine shredded Cheddar cheese and butter.
Stir occasionally until almost melted.
Remove from heat and blend in sour cream, scallions, salt and pepper.
Pour mixture over potatoes and blend together (don't break potatoes).
