Cherry Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can Queen Ann cherries
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat together butter, egg and sugar.
    Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
    Add to first mixture.
    Stir in Queen Ann cherries and chopped nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream, warm or cold.
