Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Boil first three ingredients until it forms a firm ball between your fingers.
    Pour half over stiffly beaten egg whites. Return other half and boil until it forms a hard ball between fingers.
    Pour rest over the mixture and beat until it stands in peaks or holds its shape.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper.
