Jumbo Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. raisins
1 c. water
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
4 c. flour

Preparation

Boil raisins and water for 5 minutes; set aside. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla. Add the cooled raisin mixture and nut meats. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop by a teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake in hot oven, 350\u00b0, for 10 to 12 minutes.
