Oven Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter or oleo
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
5 to 6 qt. popped popcorn
1 to 2 c. mixed nuts (optional)
Preparation

Combine first three ingredients in heavy saucepan.
Bring to a boil and stir for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in soda. Pour over popped corn (and nuts) in large roasting pan, stirring to coat.
Bake at 250\u00b0, uncovered, for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
Cool on wax paper.
Store in airtight container. Makes 5 to 6 quarts.
