Aunt Nina'S Famous Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 c. butter or oleo
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. molasses
    1 egg
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, soda, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Cream the butter or oleo. Gradually add the sugar; cream well. Blend in molasses and egg. Add dry ingredients, mixing thoroughly. If desired, chill for easier handling. Roll out on floured surface, 1/4 at a time, to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutter. Place on lightly greased baking sheets. Bake in moderately hot oven at 375\u00b0 for 5 to 8 minutes. Remove from baking sheet immediately.
