Pennsylvania-Dutch Filling And Filled Hamburg Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, diced
    4 stalks celery with small leaves, diced
    4 slices bread (preferably old)
    2 c. mashed potatoes (about 2 medium)
    2 or 3 eggs
    4 tsp. celery seed
    parsley, chopped
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Brown onion, then add celery and cook slightly to soften.
    In a large bowl, tear bread into pieces.
    Soak in a little milk.
    Add remaining ingredients and moisten with milk to the consistency of mashed potatoes.
    Bake in a casserole for 1 hour at 350\u00b0 or use to stuff a chicken.
