Chicken-Fried Steak With Cream Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 round steak, cut 1/2-inch thick (1 lb.)
    2 large eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    cream gravy
Preparation
    Cut steak crosswise into 4 pieces.
    Place one piece between 2 sheets plastic wrap; using a rolling pin or meat pounder, pound to 1/4 inch thickness.
    Repeat with remaining pieces.
    In a pie plate with remaining pieces.
    In a pie plate combine flour, salt and pepper.
    Dip each piece of steak first in egg mixture, then flour to coat.
    Shake gently to remove excess flour.
    In a skillet, melt margarine; add steak, 2 at a time.
    Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes on each side.
