Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    12 slices bacon, fried
    4 boiled eggs
    1/2 c. celery
    1/2 c. onion, sliced thin
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    2 c. Miracle Whip
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cut
    up lettuce and place in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Crumble fried bacon
    over
    lettuce.
    Slice
    cooled eggs and place over bacon. Place
    remaining
    ingredients in layers over lettuce in this order:
    celery,
    onion,
    water
    chestnuts
    and
    peas.
    Add sugar to Miracle Whip and spread over salad.
    Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
    Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
