Fried Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large tomatoes (almost green), sliced thick
    1/4 c. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    salt and pepper
    oil (for frying)
    Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Heat the oil in skillet.
    Dip tomato slices in egg, then in flour.
    Brown on both sides.
    Sprinkle with salt, pepper and cheese, if desired.
    Serve hot.
