Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    3 c. raw peanuts
Preparation
    Cook in iron frying pan the sugar and Karo syrup until it spins a thread.
    Add 3 cups raw peanuts and cook 15 minutes or until done and color is amber.
    Remove and add 1/2 teaspoon soda. Stir and pour on greased cookie sheet.
    Let cool and harden.
