Chocolate, Mascarpone And Fruit Shortcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
    2 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    1/4 c. margarine or butter
    3 oz. semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped or 1 c. miniature semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 beaten egg
    1/4 c. half and half, light cream or milk
    2/3 c. whipping cream
    12 oz. Mascarpone cheese
    3/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 medium nectarines, pitted and sliced or 3 medium peaches, peeled, pitted and sliced
    1 c. rapberriess, blackberries and/or blueberries
Preparation
    Chill a medium mixing bowl and the beaters of an electric mixer in the refrigerator while preparing the shortcakes.
