Ingredients

2 sticks oleo
1 c. oil
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1 pinch salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
4 c. plain flour
Preparation

Cream oleo, oil and sugars.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add all other ingredients and mix.
Refrigerate overnight.
Roll into balls about the size of a quarter and place on greased cookie sheet.
Mash down with fingertips.
Press down with glass where bottom has been dipped in water (for first cookie only).
Then dip in white sugar for each cookie.
Bake at 375\u00b0 only until lightly brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
Batter will keep 2 weeks in refrigerator.
