Cabbage With Caraway - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head cabbage
    1 tsp. margarine or butter
    1 Tbsp. minced parsley
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
    1/2 c. chicken consomme or 1 chicken bouillon cube
    salt to taste
    caraway seed
Preparation
    Remove core from the cabbage.
    Cut into bite sized pieces. Melt margarine in a large skillet.
    Put in cabbage, parsley, sugar, pepper and consomme.
    Cover and cook over moderate heat about 12 minutes, basting with the pan juices several times.
    About 1 minute before the cabbage is done, sprinkle with caraway seed.
    Remove cabbage to a serving dish.
    Pour the pan liquid over the cabbage. Yields 6 servings.
