Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    8 potatoes
    1/2 stick butter
    1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
    1/4 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Brown and drain ground beef and place in a casserole dish. While meat is browning, boil peeled sliced potatoes with butter and salt.
    Drain and mash.
    To mash potatoes, add sour cream, salt and pepper.
    Blend in milk.
    Spoon potatoes over beef and cover with cheese.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 until cheese begins to bubble.
    Remove, cool and serve.
