Baked Beef Brisket - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 lb. fresh beef brisket
    sliced onions
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    1 bay leaf
    paprika
    garlic salt to taste
    flour
    mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place brisket on sheet of heavy-duty foil.
    Add all the other ingredients, except the flour.
    Bake 3 hours or until tender.
    Slice the meat.
    Skim off the fat from the gravy and thicken with flour.
    Add mushrooms.
    Return sliced meat to gravy and heat until bubbly.
