Cranberry Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 stick butter
    1 c. heavy cream
    1 large egg, lightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. cranberries (frozen)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
    Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.
    In separate bowl, combine cream, egg and vanilla, whisking to blend.
    Add wet ingredients to dry, stirring to combine well.
    Dough will be sticky.
    Stir cranberries into dough.
    Roll dough out round on lightly floured surface to one-half-inch thickness and cut into pie-shaped wedges.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet 20 minutes.
    Makes 1 dozen wedges.
