Chili Con Queso - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, well drained and cut up
    1 (3 oz.) can green chilies, seeded and chopped
    2 lb. Velveeta cheese, grated or cut into chunks
Preparation
    Brown onion in butter; add tomatoes and chilies.
    Add cheese and stir until melted.
    (For extra zip, add some jalapeno relish or Tabasco sauce.)
    Keep warm in chafing dish.
    Serve with taco chips or bread sticks for dipping.
